A Little Something for Posterity…

My Mom is the kind of person who will tell you not to buy her a gift and she means it. She’s the kind of person who’ll tell you that there isn’t really any thing in this world that she needs. She’ll be the first to tell you how very blessed she is.

Some people like this can be hard to shop for… But not my Mom. The compliment to her humility and contentment is her appreciation for simplicity. I hope that I can someday mirror these qualities as admirably and as beautifully as she does. I endeavor to daily…

So for Mother’s Day, simplicity was my inspiration… and thanks to a little help from bloggyland and more specifically, Rachel over at What I Made Today, I was able to take my Mother’s grandbabies and freeze them in time for a moment.

So a few of these…

Became this…

And along with the beauty of a full-of-buds-&-blooms geranium hanging basket, I honored my Mother for all that she is and for all that she has made me… and watched her smile.
