5 Days of Organizing… KIDS’ CLOTHING

I am so excited to share with y’all that I am going to be part of an amazing group of bloggers that are hosting this 5 Day series on Organizing & Cleaning!

Now, I’ll be honest… I don’t really fashion myself as one of the most “organized” people in the world… but I am a big proponent of systems. And I have found that there are some things in life for which a system will actually help you stay organized.

For these next few days, I’m going to be posting about my system and other great ideas I’ve found for Organizing Kids’ Clothing. {One of the few things in life that I feel like I’ve been able to get a handle on!} LOL

Today, I want us to get to know each other! So please take a few minutes to visit our About Us section and browse the blog to get a real feel for our family… you may even stumble upon some of my kids clothing organization ideas that I’ve shared in bits & pieces before! 😉

Then be sure to leave a comment telling me more about yourself! What are you interested in knowing more about when it comes to the idea of organizing kids clothing?

And lastly, take a look over the different topics that I’ll be covering this week and take a little inventory of yourself! How are you doing in each area? What questions do you have for other Moms? How can this community of bloggers help you to improve?

This will include tips for storing away clothing that you want to save for younger children… ideas for passing along clothing that you will no longer be needing… and ways to keep the memories of your children’s favorite outfits, without actually keeping the clothes!
Here I’ll share some ideas for thinking “outside the closet” when it comes to putting away the clothing that your kids are currently wearing!
Do you shop thrift stores & consignment sales for the next seasons and then find next year that your children never wore the clothes you bought there?! It’s happened to all of us… but there are a few simple things you can do to avoid that!
For those of us in the parts of the country with seasons, it’s a twice yearly thing… but for those with no seasons, it may only be an annual thing. Either way, with growing kids, there will always be clothing rotations!

I am really looking forward to getting to know some new friends here in the blog-o-sphere and sharing some great tried & true tips for wrangling all this kids clothing that seems to multiply through the years!
